All mounts are level 80. 1-80 is kind of a tutorial. Once you hit 80 you have to start the PoF story to get mounts. as you progress you'll unlock the other ones. Each has a different effect on movement such as being able to jump far/jump high/glide over water.

No enemies near by, or coming after me as far as I can tell; I can stand there for ten minutes, and nothing happens!
