There is no benefit to using a fuel stabilizer if you add a significant amount of fresh fuel at least every 3-4 months (say 1/3 tank). I think the secret is Shell V-Power, a nice clean fuel with a much lower carbon and fuller burn. It may cost a little more at the pump, but with Shell points and extra MPG in real world driving it’s amounts to a couple of pence per litre, well worth it and solves all sorts of emission problems.
